Cignpost Diagnostics Celebrate 18 Months Working With The DP World Tour

The pandemic posed significant challenges to the world of sport, halting many events completely. To try to counter its effects, Cignpost has formed partnerships with elite sports teams to provide them with testing bubbles and keep their players safe as they play the sport they love. One of these is the DP World Tour. 

We formed our first live testing bubble for the DP World Tour at the Betfred British Masters in July 2020, as the Tour restarted from its pandemic-induced pause. Since then, we have accompanied the players, their coaches and their crew to over 21 countries across Europe and the Middle East, conducting close to 50,000 COVID-19 tests - and counting! – and allowing fans to continue enjoying the Tour throughout the last 18 months. 

Our goal is to keep the players at the top of their game while also supporting their coaches and crew. We go behind the scenes to test the support crew in order to keep the entire team in peak form. 

As well as regular COVID-19 testing, we are also helping the Tour in a number of other diagnostic areas, keeping players safe so they can perform at their best. Having achieved our goal of getting all the players back onto the course at the start of the pandemic, we’re now helping to keep them there and supporting their coaches and crew so that they can do the same.
